After extreme success in his solo career and as the creator, songwriter and lead singer of Abuss, Adolfo Busillo has joined forces with the musical talent of Bethany Kazimir, Jasper Paciotti,  Bill Miller, Floyd Chappel and Dante Ceccarelli to form the new band New Moon Rising.

New Moon Rising is a 6 piece  Rock Pop Country band with  a modern edge infusing beat box to create their one of a kind sound.

,

Adolfo Busillo, Chief songwriter and lead vocalist is no stranger to national spotlight having previously been signed to Atlantic Records. Adolfo has been writing and producing music for as long as he can remember. With his band Abuss, he wrote and performed the hit “Poor Days” (Daybreak) which was a smash hit single of 2015, closing in the Top15 at the AC40 format and did record breaking chart activity from New Music Weekly to the Independent Music Network. Adolfo found spirituality in his recent quest for the perfect band to create a new sound, and therefore his newest project NMR was created. The decision to call the band NMR for the beginning of a moons cycle is a representation of his cosmic journey with his new band. New Moon Rising.

Bethany Kazimir is from northern New Jersey. She has been a singer-songwriter for over 25 years. Discovered playing and singing at an open mic night, Bethany brings angelic harmonies and backing vocals to the band. Her style of singing covers genres from southern rock and pop to classical and theatre. Bethany has been a member of the cover band since February 2019.  She is a rare gem that is bound for stardom.

Jasper Paci is a multi-instrumentalist who attended The Atlanta Institute of Music and is a 20-year veteran of the Scranton music scene. He has played extensively with both local and touring bands up and down the East Coast as well as uniquely dynamic solo performances. Jasper is equally at home on the banjo, guitar, bass, harmonica, vocals, and vocal percussion.

Bill Miller was born in Hungary and has played guitar for more than 30 years, playing over 1,500 shows in bands of varying styles in nine countries. He has played in the US with country singer Nikki Briar for six years, performing in over 1,000 shows on the East Coast as the opening act for LoCash, Marshall Tucker, Chase Rice, and Chris Janson just to name a few.

Dante Ceccarelli has been playing drums since the age of 12 years old. He has excelled in all genres of music including rock, pop, metal, country, and even hip hop. Dante is also an avid singer who lends his voice to create harmonies to the band. Dante takes his influences from all styles of music and has played up and down the east coast and in to the Midwest with bands such as Farmer’s Daughter, The Tommy Guns Band, Straight Arch and many others Apart from playing with NMR Dante does fill in gigs with several bands, He does work as a sound tech both independently and through a couple local sound companies.

Floyd Chappel, Our own “gentle giant” (standing at over 6’7” tall), Floyd has been playing bass for longer than he cares to admit… “The first time I picked up the electric bass and plucked that low string, it touched something at my core, I was hooked. Floyd is Influenced by the likes of Paul McCartney, Gene Simmons, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, and John Deacon -- as well as the playing of less publicly known session aces like James Jamerson, Bob Babbitt, and Carol Kaye -- he loves to lay down that solid low-end groove. Although he’s no stranger to the northeast music scene, Floyd is probably best known as the original bass player for NEPA modern-country sensation Farmer’s Daughter, having played hundreds of shows up and down the east coast. He’s excited to call NMR his new home!
